SOUND * LIFE * RHYTHM * ART
Juergen Groezinger is a Berlin-based musician and curator working between contemporary music, electronic sound worlds and performative formats.
Trained as a percussionist, his practice moves across the boundaries of concert, installation and club culture. Using acoustic instruments, gongs and self-built electronic setups, he develops works that oscillate between meditative resonance and rhythmic intensity.
In his sound journeys and site-specific projects, he explores how resonance and silence shape perception and open new modes of listening.
As a DJ, he creates curated “Listening Lounges” in which music from different epochs enters into dialogue. His work has been presented at institutions such as Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart Berlin, and in venues ranging from international festivals to iconic Berlin clubs including Berghain. For WDR 3, he regularly conceives and hosts a radio programme dedicated to musical dialogues from early music to the present.
He is the founder and artistic director of the European Music Project and the KlangHaus Festival.
